“Be careful what you say. You can say something hurtful in ten seconds, but ten years later, the wounds are still there”
Often times, yelling at our kids when they misbehave become our automatic response. And out of our anger, we may say things to our kids that we regret after.
It’s a reminder that if we don’t keep our anger in check, it will backfire. Let’s try our best to choose our response wisely.
